Subject: Response from the Secretariat of the National Committee for MoW, ROK

To whom it may concern,

This email is to clear up the confusion that occurred in the course of communication between Japanese Embassy in Seoul(JES) and Korean Studies Institute(KSI). 

An officer of JES had sent an email to KSI on August 24, inquiring some points in the document nominated for MOWCAP Register, to which a researcher of KSI declined to reply directly. The confusion was caused by the fact that JES had initiated the communication in accordance with the schedule arranged by MOWCAP Secretary General but had not disclosed it at first, while KSI had declined to reply directly with no information of such an arrangement. 

Therefore, hoping the above description suffices to clear the confusion, both parties are now invited to communicate with each other, via National Committee for MoW, Republic of Korea, to facilitate the process of MOWCAP's 2022 nomination cycle. 

This Committee prefers that all correspondences will be in English, since they are subject to documentation to be included into MOWCAP Archive in future and they should be shared by other parties concerned.
